Logan Area Parks

Logan has plenty of open space for a party, from Riverdale Park in Meadowbrook and the Logan River Parklands in Beenleigh to sports parks and neighbourhood playgrounds from Greenbank to Jimboomba.

Each guide below covers the playground, shelters, barbecues, toilets and parking, plus a map and what to sort out with Council before party day.

Council permits at a glance

Logan City Council asks you to fill in its Notify us of your event form for an event in one of its parks, and to allow 21 days for review.

If your party includes a jumping castle or another amusement, you'll need a permit, and the equipment needs a registration certificate from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.

There's no charge to use a park for a private party, but a permit doesn't give you exclusive use. Power isn't available for event equipment, so generators are allowed as long as you manage the noise.

Rules can change, so always check with the council before you book. Each park guide has the details for that park.
