Leaf Park, Greenbank
Leaf Park is a park in Greenbank, in Logan, with a fort-style playground, a scooter path and open lawn. We've set up castles here before, so we know the park well. Here's what to know before you plan a party there.
Having a party at Leaf Park
Shelters and tables at Leaf Park are shared with other park users (even with a Council permit you don't get exclusive use), so get there early on weekends to claim a good spot.
Playground and facilities
Alongside the playground there is basketball and fitness equipment. No public toilets are listed, so plan ahead. The playground is a fort of four connected towers with slides, a rope bridge and a spiral pole, ringed by a scooter path.
How to get there and parking

Council permit and event notice
We couldn't find Leaf Park in Logan City Council's parks directory, so check with Council on 07 3412 3412 who looks after it before you book. In Council parks, the rules are: logan City Council asks you to fill in its Notify us of your event form for an event in one of its parks, and to allow 21 days for it to be reviewed. If your party includes a jumping castle or any other amusement, you'll need a permit, and the equipment needs a registration certificate from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (the Office of Fair and Safe Work Queensland). There's no charge to use the park for a private party, but a permit doesn't give you exclusive use, so you may be sharing the space with other park users. Power isn't available for event equipment, so Council allows generators as long as you manage the noise, and it can cancel permits in poor weather.
