Flagstone Regional Park, Flagstone

Flagstone Regional Park is a park in Flagstone, in Logan, with a playground, BBQs, picnic areas and toilets. Here's what to know before you plan a party there.

Having a party at Flagstone Regional Park

Shelters and tables at Flagstone Regional Park are shared with other park users (even with a Council permit you don't get exclusive use), so get there early on weekends to claim a good spot. There's an off-leash dog area, so set up a little away from it with younger kids.

Playground and facilities

Alongside the playground there is basketball, skate facilities and a BMX track. There are public toilets.

How to get there and parking

Flagstone Regional Park is at Flagstonian Drive, Flagstone. Allow time to find a park close to where you're setting up.

Good to know

Power: Council says power isn't available for event equipment, so bring a generator if you need one.
Hours: Council lists the park as open from 7:30am to 8pm.
Weather: Bring shade and plenty of water on hot days.

Council permit and event notice

Flagstone Regional Park is a Logan City Council park. Logan City Council asks you to fill in its Notify us of your event form for an event in one of its parks, and to allow 21 days for it to be reviewed. If your party includes a jumping castle or any other amusement, you'll need a permit, and the equipment needs a registration certificate from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (the Office of Fair and Safe Work Queensland). There's no charge to use the park for a private party, but a permit doesn't give you exclusive use, so you may be sharing the space with other park users. Power isn't available for event equipment, so Council allows generators as long as you manage the noise, and it can cancel permits in poor weather.
