Goupong Park is a park in Collingwood Park, in the Ipswich area, with a playground, open grass and picnic shelters. Kids can run around while the adults set up nearby, which makes it a handy spot for a birthday party or family get-together.

Having a party at Goupong Park

There are no bookable areas listed, so shelters and tables work on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early on weekends to get a good spot. There is open grass for games and room to set up party equipment, though it's worth checking the ground is level before you commit to a spot.

Where Council asks for public liability insurance, the minimum is $20 million, with Ipswich City Council named as an interested party. If you're unsure whether your party needs a permit, call Council on (07) 3810 6666. Read Council's permit information.
