You probably have your own new year’s traditions or party ideas. But since you are organizing it annually, sometimes you might run out of things to do. From watching movies to listening to songs. 2. Do a New Year Balloon Count Down

One of the fun parts about New Year is the countdown to 12 midnight. You can do this too using balloons. A new year balloon countdown is simple to do. You just pop one balloon every hour. You can prepare different-colored balloons for this depending on what time you would start. For example, if you are starting the countdown at 6 pm, You can prepare 78 balloons, with the last balloon to be popped at midnight to welcome the new year. Make the next balloon bigger and more festive than the next one. Write the time on each balloon so you would not get confused about what to pop. This is great if you have kids to build up anticipation for the new year.

3. Put Together a Time Capsule

Want to do something new and memorable this new year? Try to bury a time capsule. Find a metal or plastic container around the house that you can use to store objects. Ask each family member to put three items that represent important memories for this year. Let them also write notes to explain what memory each item represents. Put them all in the container, and close the lid tightly. Write a note outside that it can only be opened on a certain date. For example, it can only be opened on January 1, 2028, which is after five years. Bury it in the backyard or store it away and open it on the specified date to make New Year more memorable.

4. Rent Popcorn and Fairy Floss
